One of the best things about working with and for the 787 Collective is holding thoughts, ideas and questions around what it means to be church, and how we might do it better. This sort of reflection has been both inward and outward for me, as I hope it’s been for all of our congregations, remembering the people and stories that formed us while celebrating the vision of who God asks us to become. These were all on my mind as I crafted this piece for South Writ Large (follow the link to read it), and am grateful for the the people and churches who continue to inspire our work and teach us what it means to live as community in this complicated world.
