From Silver Spring, Maryland, Rudy is the Associate for Congregational Innovation. He brings nearly a decade of experience in community engagement and ministry, including, but not limited to, public safety, prisons, racial equity, and social justice. Rudy’s upbringing in his local Baptist Church planted the seeds regarding his passion for community building and social witness. The faith of his mother inspired him to practice “hope as a discipline” as expressed in the work of Mariame Kaba. Rudy earned his MDiv from Princeton Theological Seminary, and his driving motivation is to help create a world where we maximize everyone’s opportunity to flourish and live abundantly well.
