The 787 Collective Campaigns are initiatives to center young adult leaders in work that supports and celebrates their vocational gifts and yearnings, in ways that enrich the mission of the church.
Campaign Spotlights
The purpose of Seekers is to gather people from all walks of life to create a spiritual community / home for those outside of the present church community. Seekers mostly consists of neighbors of the church campus where I pastor and is mostly people that are formerly religious or have no religious background. Day to day we connect through WhatsApp or Facebook messenger about our lives, meet once a month for a spiritual service (time for contemplation, a reading about Love, discussion, sharing about personal life and spiritual wonderings). We also serve by participating in loving action to our community.
Read MoreI work with the interfaith non-profit Texas Impact to connect with people around the world who are serving and doing mission work. I find, hear, and document their stories about how climate change is affecting their service and communities, and how we can help support them through our own actions. Day to day you can find me researching different intersections of climate change, and looking at different denominations, faith organizations, and spiritual leaders who are talking about the climate crisis and taking action in their own communities. With these new connections, Texas Impact and I then put together blogs and webinars to talk with these leaders to share their stories, climate impacts, and the importance of how we can take action and help.
Read MoreI work for the Borderlands Young Adult Volunteer Program, where we focus on fostering a binational community of young adults dedicated to supporting organizations along the borderlands. Recently, we concluded our 787 Collective project and are currently in the process of documenting our efforts through a short film. This film aims to showcase the positive impact of young adult leadership and faith, highlighting the good news emerging from the borderlands.

We gather weekly on Wednesdays ay 7pm at various locations. This space has allowed for tremendous transformation in the life of many people.
