The premiere podcast of The 787 Collective centers the voices of young adults by inviting them to share their life experiences as they seek to find belonging, their faith struggles and growth throughout life’s various transitions, and invites them to embrace their curiosity. We often contrast digital experiences from real experiences, however digital is the contrast of physical, not the contrast of real. We believe community can be built, enhanced, and flourish through digital connection. The community is real and we would love for you to be a part of it.

Collective Threads

Collective Threads are regional strands in the greater tapestry of The 787 Collective, weaving together young adult ministry leaders through shared stories, spiritual practices, and mutual support. Rooted in faith and growing through connection, this ecumenical group nurtures resilience and renewal in the joys and challenges of ministry.

787 Collective Pilgrimage

The purpose of this pilgrimage is to help deepen the connection between young adults in the cities where they reside. In our society, transience is a common experience for many young adults early in their careers and those who have moved to a new city for school. During such phases, how do we invite young adults into spiritual and learning experiences that foster a sense of belonging, understanding, and relationality with the land and the people who inhabit it? Through this place-based learning experience, we aim to spiritualize place and help young adults gain a deeper understanding of the local area, its history, and the people who have contributed to the city’s vibrant and faithful cultures. Thus, young adults will emerge with enhanced social and spiritual awareness, leading them to spirit-led practices and learning in service of their neighbors, communities, and the land.
